"Check you bed and pillows for bed bugs", that is the news coming out of the Today Show on NBC. Slow news day....

Using blog technology, it's easy to publish information to friends and family. Modern Blog interfaces are simple enough for almost anyone to use, and with RSS feeds off the blogs and intelligent clients, even grandma can send an alert when something interesting has happened. Of course, once you're used to this technology, it's hard to give up.

The pieces of the puzzle are all there. All it takes is someone with vision to reach out and grab the prize.

On NPR yesterday they shared a fascinating little data point. It turns out there are as many Hispanic children under of the age of 10 in the United States as there are Anglo children. Add to that the fact that Hispanics vote 3-1 Democratic and it's not hard to do the math that the Republican party needs to evolve or evaporate. Signs that say "Compassion" at their convention hall won't get the job done. Their platform will have to embrace real diversity and real pluarlism if it is to be relevant to the voting populace in the decades ahead.
